Rapid Waterjet Design, located in Ringwood, IL, is a full service waterjet cutting and CNC-Milling company. Our unique skill set, commitment to quality, and extensive experience has established us as a premier manufacturer.

We are looking for a individual to train that is a self-motivated worker, has mechanical aptitude, and can work on 1st shift in this entry-level position.

Job Duties:

• Operate and load Waterjet manufacturing Machine with a forklift
• Measure and inspect the parts that are made to ensure a quality product
• Work from drawings, and prints with moderate comprehension
• Notify supervisor regarding necessity of defective material, inventory issues, and malfunction of equipment
• Move material, parts, or containers. Segregate and remove scrap
• Follow prescribed safety practice including use of all safety equipment furnished
• Maintain and repair mechanical shop equipment

Requirements:

• Able to follow directions and use the machines that are computer based
• Ability to use calipers and understand simple measurements
• Attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs
• Someone that is comprehensive on mechanical equipment
• Able to drive a forklift

Salary: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour
